REPORTING · 29th April 2007

A rather large earthquake struck up in the Aleution Islands this morning at about twenty minutes before six PDT. Measuring 6.5 on the richter scale this is considered serious. Although there is no one living in the region we are wondering about the potential for a tidal wave or high water warning.
It has been two and a half hours since it occurred. Did anyone hear any such warning?
