School Christmas concerts are under way as the big day approaches. Annunciation school held their annual Christmas presentation on December 17 at the Lester Centre of the Arts. It was attended by many residents of Acropolis Manor, as well as family members.
The whole school participated in what was a memorable series of acts including choir singing, dancing with ribbons and scarves, and plays. As well, the Grade 6 & 7 band displayed their finesse in playing various instruments.
The main message was to remind us all the meaning of Christmas while we are busy preparing for it. This was evident in the play by the grade 7 class titled “ The Real Meaning of Christmas” , and by the dramatization titled “I Need a Silent Night” by the grade 5 class.
The Annunciation School is known for presenting various plays during the year that are absolutely amazing. They will be doing the “Wizard of Oz” this spring and seats will be open to the public. Look for upcoming dates on Rupert Daily “events Calendar”.
