I too shed tears while hearing the Apology but I am not about to forgive the Governments, or the Church, for their misdeeds. These performances are just ploys to keep Indian leaders onside with them while they continue to act as if we are conquered. Why did they remove their “mace” from the Commons Chamber while our representatives were present; to send themselves a signal of their superiority, no different than when the Priests and other agents were rounding up the little kids and exposing themselves.

This was another ploy like Campbell and Campagnolo’s Treaty process, designed to sustain their hold on us and I reject it entirely. Why don’t these people admit that we own the Land and start trying to come to terms with the law by surrendering themselves to our Sovereign Rights and then we can all govern the land and utilize the resources together, the way Creator intends, and then we will forgive them for their culture and for their abusive acts.

As for me I will fight on fighting the good fight with those whose principles are strong. Those who submit to such tactics and negotiate with such people can prepare to shed more and more teardrops.
