Stampeders Coming to Kitamaat!
Music & Friends is pleased to announce the signing of a performance contract with well-known Canadian rock group, The Stampeders.

Easily recognized by such hits as “Sweet City Woman”, “Carry Me”, and “Wild Eyes”, this Calgary based group was incredibly popular in the 1970s appearing on many Canadian television networks and touring extensively across the country and internationally. Having won numerous awards, including multiple Juno’s, and international recognition, The Stampeders are easily one of the most accomplished Canadian groups. With ten albums in their repertoire, many having reached gold and platinum status, this dynamic group will delight the audience, both young and more experienced.

Clarence Nyce, North Pacific Music Festival Society President states, “We are very excited to welcome this iconic Canadian rock group to the Music & Friends line up this year. Our program has grown remarkably since the beginning and we believe The Stampeders appearance will be a tremendous way to celebrate the transition to a two day festival and it is vitally important that the acts we select reflect the diverse and dynamic nature of our annual event.”

Music & Friends will feature a variety of musical acts by talented local and regional artists. This years two-day event, July 18th and 19th in Kitamaat Village, will allow for an increased line-up. Clarence Nyce, who is also Musician Chair for the Festival, is actively looking for musical acts. Interested individual or group acts are encouraged to contact Clarence as soon as possible at (250) 632-2531 or via email at: cmedeeksnds.bc.ca.
