Vancouver Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show

KT will represent Terrace as an exhibitor at the upcoming Vancouver Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show at BC Place on February 15-17, 2008. An estimated 20,000 adventure enthusiasts and industry partners are expected to attend the show over the course of the two days. KT is putting together an awesome display to showcase Terrace including video, slideshows, creative banner stands, and a very special guest will be making the journey; the Kermodei Bear from City Hall Chambers. Community stakeholders are invited to display their collateral print materials at the KT booth for a nominal fee.

Hiking and Biking Trails Pamphlet

The brand new ‘Guide to Recreational Trails in the Terrace Area’ will be hitting the stands the first week of February 2008. It highlights thirteen of our local trails, providing access info, trail features, descriptions and difficulty ratings. This project has been a collaborative effort of the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and the Arts, the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine and Kermodei Tourism. This is the first pamphlet completed in a series of five that represent trails of the region. Download a PDF version under the Outdoor Adventure / Hiking and Biking section of our web site.

Mighty Moe’s Caravan

Mighty Moe’s Caravan legacy will live on as KT continues to initiate research and development into a downtown caravan site. Last December 2007, KT alongside representatives from the City of Terrace and the Farmer’s Market met with Mighty Moe at the Happy Gang Centre to discuss Caravan options. KT is currently in the midst of creating a promotional package to send out to Caravan companies in order to solicit feedback and create awareness for our Caravan-friendly community. This plan targets only Caravan companies while other communications strategies are in place to attract individual RV visitors.
