Approaching McKay Bridge

Young Nisga's left Sunday, Aug. 12th from Old Aiyansh landing to travel down the Nass and coast to reach Prince Rupert Litering Dock Saturday, Aug. 18th around 2 PM . This is the first trip of this kind in recent history.
Pictures are of them reaching McKay Bridge between Aiyansh and Greenville. They will be camping and stopping at villages enroute.
Please greet them in Prince Rupert as they deserve your cheers.

The journey was a spiritual awakening for those who participated. The purpose of the journey was to raise the awareness of the dangers of hitchhiking, the highway of tears. It was also to strengthen the relationship between the communties or revive what used to be a common practise in the old ways.
