The Government of British Columbia, Northern Health, the North West Regional Hospital District and the City of Prince Rupert wish to invite you to the groundbreaking for Prince Rupert’s new long-term care facility for seniors.
The $20 million facility will provide a total of 61 new replacement residential care beds and 15 new assisted living units along with a new adult day centre for seniors. The BC Government via Northern Health and North West Regional Hospital District are funding the project. The City of Prince Rupert has provided land adjacent to the current Acropolis site for the new facility.
NH Board chair Jeff Burghardt, North West Regional Hospital District chair Tony Briglio and Prince Rupert Mayor Herb Pond will be on hand to officially start the construction project.

Following the ground breaking, Northern Health will provide light refreshments for guests. The event will take place rain or shine.
