Highway 16 Both Directions
Closed indefinitely in both directions from Port Edward Turnoff to Terrace because of Flooding. The highway will remain closed until flood waters subside, damage to the highway is assessed, and necessary repairs are completed to allow for the safe passage of traffic.


Mud Slide 37 km east of Terrace. The road will be closed 10 pm to 6 am until further notice. The road is reduced to single lane alternating traffic 6 am to 10 pm. An alternate route between Terrace and Kitwanga via Cranberry Forest Service Road is available with scheduled 30 minute openings in alternating
directions. Westbound openings scheduled for 4, 8, and 12, am and pm. Eastbound openings scheduled for 2, 6, and 10 am and pm.


Flooding 48 km east of Terrace is now clear.
