Enbridge is a Canadian success story

Energy company with a long history in Alberta prides itself on environmental stewardship**

After more than 60 years of history in Alberta, Enbridge is a well-known brand in the province. But that is not the case in British Columbia, where the proposed 1,172-kilome-tre Northern Gateway project plans to flow oil to B.C.'s north-west coast at Kitimat for export to Asia. As a result, explaining the project has been more difficult in B.C., particularly west of Prince George, where there is little knowledge of the oil sector or Enbridge, says company spokesman Paul Stan-way, a former Edmonton Sun publisher and communications director for former premier Ed Stelmach.

It wouldn't be at all fair not to include Merv Richie and this paper which are indeed a breath of fresh air in the corporate world we live in. One might go so far as to describe them as a light of reason in a dark sea of propaganda.

And let's not forget Northword.ca - that tiny northern paper which produces some fine articles. Take this one about Enbridge for example:

We as people have the right to live as we always have and no one should have the power to force their way in regardless of how much money they wield. His current article is a little chopped up at the bottom, but Grant has brought me lots of facts and many a rich laugh as he almost singlehandedly takes on our current crop of blackflies in gov.
