Drive BC is reporting the highway between Prince Rupert and Terrace is closed due to a high avalanche hazard.

Drive BC reports they expect the highway to repoen at noon but are expressing a low confidence in this estimation.

They state the highway is closed between Rainbow Pass and 40 kilometers west of Terrace (Shames Mountain turn off).
