Editor Note: It is always nice to get stories like these. Here is a couple of experiences from a returning tourist.
I visited Prince Rupert in this June. There, I was helped by kind citizen on the bus unexpectedly.
It was June 14. I took the bus at 10:16 from Summit at Sloan to go to Downtown. But I had not some coins because I didn’t know to be unable to use a bill to pay the fare. Just then, a man of middle age payed the fare for me. I intended to pay back him at Downtown after change. But he got off the bus at next stop Kootenay at Pilsbury. I could not ask his name. He said me don’t need to pay back. But I’d like to pay back and to say thank you him again.
This was my second visit to Prince Rupert, I got fond of the city more and more, living such kind person.
This afternoon I went to ferry terminal to take Alaska Marine Highway, then I met with the power failure accident by eagle. At this terminal, the persons in charge were also kind for passengers. But almost passengers who might spend a night in the waiting room shivered with cold without heater and light. I wish there are provided some blankets.
