It's why most of us live here. A picture is worth a thousand words.
High tide, low tide, all four seasons, windy or calm, the drive along the Skeena River to the Pacific from Terrace is indescribably beautiful.
Recently we have begun producing and distributing the RupertDaily.ca weekly Newsletter just as we have been printing for Terrace and Kitimat since last summer. This has had us take this gorgeous drive on a weekly basis. It has also reminded us what we have been missing by not driving the route more often.
The trip always takes much longer than we plan as we seem to get caught up in the scenery, stopping every few miles to savour it.
Last week we caught up with a young black bear who decided to walk through the train tunnel “Hole in the Wall”; the week before we came back in the evening to a stunningly calm Skeena with a bright moon above.
After composing the article on the rock scaling we felt showing off just how stunning the drive is was a respectful gesture.

I will be taking that credit! Merv writes a good story but most creative photo's taken by yours truly.
Thanks again Gerry.
Wow!
