Late yesterday Greyhound Canada suspended all its Western Canada Service. Earlier this week Greyhounds employees; mechanics, drivers and ticket agents, had taken a vote which allowed them to provide 72 hour strike notice.
So just in time for the busy long weekend, in a move considered to create the most distress, the company decided to withdraw service on its own.
This creates a real problem here in the Northwest.
